Expertise

Amy C. Hirsh represents employers in labor and employment disputes, and advises clients on all aspects of employment law. She has broad litigation experience in state and federal courts in matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, unfair competition, class actions, arbitrations, and appeals. Ms. Hirsh also represents clients in administrative proceedings, and provides pre-litigation advice and counsel. Ms. Hirsh has particular experience in advising employers regarding employment policies and procedures, disability accommodations, leaves of absence, harassment investigations, employee discipline and discharges, and litigation avoidance. Ms. Hirsh also serves as an adjunct professor at John F. Kennedy University, where she teaches employment law to students earning certificates in paralegal studies and human resources.
